Transition into Fall w/ Zaful

Yay! Fall has finally taken full affect. With some areas still a little warm, I wanted to create looks that could be worked into fall and summer. The online store Zaful was kind enough to send me a bunch of different pieces of clothing to try out.

In the beginning I choose things that had been out of stock, I wasn’t notified and had to figure that out on my own. Once I noticed I contacted customer service where they had me choose new items. Customer service worked extremely well with me and once the pieces came in I realized it was worth the small hassle.

Delivery took about 2 weeks and some items did come separately, all together I received 3 separate bags. When you first open your package you will most likely notice the extreme wrinkles in each piece of clothing. Fortunately, once ironed the items look 100% perfect. For the most part the pieces were true to size, the site is very inexpensive making it affordable for nearly anyone. I definitely will be purchasing from this site sometime soon. Fall Wishlist/Must Haves

Fall is definitely not only my favorite season but my favorite fashion season. In fall there is endless ways you can wear a variety of pieces. Below I have selected some pieces that I would love for fall. One thing I didn’t include but that is a must have is vests. Paired with a sweater, vests are a great way to keep cozy and look put together. For vests I recommend Lands’End (my favorite here, tap it) and for a less expensive option I just ordered this one in burgundy on Forever 21!

Click the words under each picture to be routed to the piece on the store, happy shopping!

Goodbye August, Hello Fall!

Unfortunately summer is coming to a close and I know any high school or college kid reading this is cringing at the thought of going back to school. Going back to school for me means college, college, college! It’s finally time to apply and prepare for the next chapter in my life. With all of this being said it’s completely necessary to pick out a first day of school outfit, the outfit below is definitely what I’ll be sporting this coming September. I am obsessed with the neutral tones and  the simplicity of the outfit. This outfit is perfect for the transition from summer to fall, it can be worn to school or dressed up for a night out with friends. I try creating very versatile looks so it’s easy to wear an outfit like this to different occasions. One of my favorite things about this outfit is how affordable it is! All of these pieces besides my jewelry is from Forever21! The quality was super surprising to me and the price was an added plus! The Corduroy Mini Skirt was $12.90 and the Ruffle Trimmed Top retailed for $8.90 (in the top go up a size if you don’t want it to be cropped) in total this outfit was around $21 which is a total steal. My accessories include a rose gold ring located on my middle finger that my parents gifted me along with a rose gold diamond band and a Bow Ring also both gifted to me (you can click anything in pink to be directed to the store and product!) Enjoy the rest of your summer! XX

New York City Goodbyes

By the title of this post you may make the assumption that it’s going to be a more melancholy writing. To better explain the title I will say this. Going to New York City can never be spent badly, for me any day spent there is full of happiness and Monday was no different. That part that has given me the blues is the fact that some of my closest friends who I’ve created a strong friendship and bond with are embarking onto a new journey and I have to say goodbye. They will meet new people but hopefully not forget the ones they left behind. This group of girls happen to be a year older than me making them all freshman in college. They have been my sisters for this past year and although I wish we had crossed paths in high school sooner, I am extremely grateful for the gifts of friendship this year has brought.
With the sappiness aside I want to share my recent trip to New York City, it’s just a 45 minute train ride from my home town. Once we arrived at Penn. Station we hopped onto the E subway to Spring Street. In Soho we shopped around to multiple stores and then made a pitstop to Soho Park an inside/outside restaurant with a woodsy interior and modern lighting. I chose Hungarian Kielbasa with caramelized onions and mustard, it was definitely a yummy meal!  After chatting and enjoying our meals we took another subway to 23rd street and walked along The High Line. Once we finished The High Line journey we walked to Penn. Station and took the train home. We all sat back and sunk into our seats as we continued home with not so subtle laughter that echoed throughout the train car. The day was filled with laughs, full stomachs and shopping bags laying on our arms. Sounds like a successful day to me. See you soon NYC! XX
